About the Construction Team:

We partner with a Tier 3 Commercial Builder, known for delivering Commercial projects and high-end custom homes across Victoria. Apply to join them, and to be part of a team dedicated to delivering top-quality results on every job.

We’re seeking skilled Carpenters and potentially Leading Hand types to join the team. There are currently multi-million dollar projects in Alexandra and Seymour that need your skills! This hands-on role is ideal for an experienced carpenter looking to take on leadership responsibilities and drive projects from start to finish. You’ll ensure high standards of workmanship and maintain a safe and organized job site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and oversee carpentry tasks, including framing, roofing, cabinetry, and detailed finish work.

• Lead and manage a small team of trades and apprentices, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.

• Work closely with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades to meet project deadlines.

• Ensure compliance with all safety and building regulations, promoting a safe and productive work environment.

• Maintain strong attention to detail, solving on-site issues quickly and efficiently.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Carpenter with relevant trade certifications.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of Carpentry experience and Leading Hand or Site Supervisor experience is desirable. 

• Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and finishes, particularly in custom residential and commercial projects.

• Ability to interpret and execute architectural plans with precision.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to site challenges.
