About the Role:
We are partnered with a Commercial Builder in Melbourne, who speclialise in a wide range of projects, including office and medical fit-outs, priding themselves on delivering high-quality construction solutions with a focus on precision and client satisfaction.

We need an experienced Senior Site Supervisor with a strong understanding of concrete construction. You will be responsible for overseeing commercial projects, with a particular focus on concrete structures, ensuring that work is completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise daily site operations, ensuring that all works are executed in compliance with design specifications and quality standards.

• Oversee the placement, finishing, and curing of concrete, ensuring materials and workmanship meet required tolerances.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of milestones.

• Monitor safety protocols, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring compliance with OH&S regulations.

• Track and manage project timelines, addressing any delays and ensuring that schedules are maintained.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior site staff and supervisors, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of experience as a Site Supervisor in commercial construction with experience and understanding of concrete processes.

• Expertise in formwork, reinforcement, and pouring techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and plans with a focus on concrete details.

• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale commercial projects.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and resolve on-site issues efficiently.

• Relevant safety certifications (e.g. White Card) and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
