To avoid a strain of inspection on their very busy Bridge team, the company is looking to hire a dedicated Bridge Inspector. This role is a strategic hire planning for the group's future and easy pressure on the current team.

There will be a broad mix of minor and major projects to see firsthand. Salary will depend on the individual, ranging from $80,000 - $110,000 TRP.

 

About the role:

To be successful in this role you will need a current driver's license and a VicRoads inspection certification in Level 2 Bridge Structures. Ideally, you will already have some experience in infrastructure projects and a good knowledge of bridges and other civil structures. Your role will be to determine the cause of asset defects and their rectification treatments. You will also have a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.

 

About you:

  • Degree qualified

  • Minimum three years experience on Melbourne projects

  • VicRoads Inspection Level 2 qualification

  • Sound understanding of Asset Management, Product Lifecycle Management and Conditioning Monitoring of infrastructure

  • Experience in assessing and reporting on the condition of structures while undertaking inspections  

  • Experience and knowledge in asset management practices

  • Well-developed report writing skills.

  • Sound knowledge of HSE and experience with risk assessment processes.

  • A genuine passion for working within a team to meet a common goal

  • Ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
