Key Responsibilities:

• Support and collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project operations

• Manage project documentation both electronically and physically, ensuring easy accessibility and compliance with company standards
• Assist in monitoring project budgets and expenditures

• Aid in procurement processes by obtaining quotes, issuing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries. Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services
• Assisting the project manager and team with research and reporting 
• Provide general administrative support to the team as well as ensure the office is running smoothly

Requirements:

• At least one year of experience as a Project Administrator or similar role 
• Experience working within the Construction space or similar industry 
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite and experience using project management software
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

• Coordinate with internal teams, architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.

• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or delays proactively.

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, contractual and quality standards.

• Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.

• Prepare and present regular progress reports and updates to stakeholders, including clients and senior management.

What you will bring to the role

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.

• Prior involvement in projects involving existing structures or heritage preservation initiatives is highly desirable 

• Demonstrated experience in project management skills and delivery of projects across the entire life cycle.

• Previous involvement in projects within the Education, Community, Civic, or Health sectors is highly desirable.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
